Gretel Patch

I am a graduate student pursuing my Masters of Educational Technology (M.ET.) at Boise State University. This program is a perfect fusion of my life passions: children, education, and technology.

I seek to help schools, teachers, and students better implement technology in their learning environments. While technology is an exciting and valuable resource in the classroom, it is also rapidly-changing and complex. I want to help others navigate and utilize the many tools available to them.

Because of my husband’s profession, we move to a new country every 2-3 years. This gives me a unique opportunity to expose people with limited education and resources to technology. I am still trying to figure out the best way to use my education to empower others. You can read about my current efforts here.

Currently we live in Kathmandu, Nepal, with our four children (10,7,6,3) and our iPods, iPhones, iMac, and iPads.
